McKenna – Cassie

Cassie McKenna (Nickname- Owney Keown), A sister of man known locally as Packie Edward McElroy, with her baby in the cradle (Francis born November 1910 so Photo likely taken @ 1911. It is thought that the Baby in the photo, Francis died aged 27 in 1936, possibly from suicide.
Another brother Eugene died aged 33 in 1951 and is recorded as died tragically at the inquest. It is has been told that Eugene became intensely religious and it is said he was seen before his.  death praying below a tree.

He was believed to have been found by a younger sister (Margaret). Great grandmother of Paul McElroy Ashfield Rd).
